The Park has a number of events for Canada Day each year.

It starts with a free Pancake Breakfast at the Park Hall from 9am to 11am prepared by the Park Board.

Then at approx. 11:30 am there is a Kids Bike Parade that starts at the LPRP Program Centre and winds in through the Darlings campground and back to the program centre. Drinks for the kids to follow.

Final at approx 10pm, there is fireworks at the Core Area Beach. Come sit on the grass hill between Lakeside Diner and the beach or join the 30 or so boats out on the water to watch.
